McKenna is employed at FAI Architects and received her BFA Environmental + Interior Design, and Minor in History from Chaminade University of Honolulu. She focuses on projects pertaining to  interior design and historic preservation. She assists in preparation of design, construction documents, and architectural history reports. McKenna is a member of the DOCOMOMO Hawaii Chapter. She has been featured in several publications including Hawaii Home and Remodeling, and Modern Luxury Hawaii. She looks forward to supporting the local chapter, and would like to strengthen membership involvement and community education on the interior design profession.
