Mahalo to our 2021 All Access and Newsletter Sponsors

President’s Message

Aloha, ASID Hawaii Chapter Members:

We want to thank SYSTEMCENTER for partnering with us and host our first virtual Design Forum last Friday. Our designers learned about color choice & restrictions, high-density storage, making a safer workspace, nature & lighting techniques, and ergonomic trends & tips. If you missed out on any of these enlightening sessions, you can contact Sandra Edwards at sandra@systemcenter.com for more information, or to obtain a recording of the sessions.

ASID Hawaii is partnering with Atlas-Masland and will be participating at the Home Improvement Fair on Saturday, June 12. Stop by our booth at Ka-Makana-Alii Center Court as we promote the ASID Hawaii Chapter, and our talented interior designers. If you would like to volunteer at our booth or would like to display your projects at the Home Improvement Fair, please contact me at president@hi.asid.org. We are looking forward to this exciting event.

We encourage participation and welcome any feedback on how we can best support you. Keep a look out for a survey coming out soon. We want to hear from you so we can provide you with opportunities that benefit you and your business. We value our members and industry partners, and look forward to what’s coming up for the rest of this board year.

Thank you,

McKenna Makizuru, Allied ASID

It’s an excellent option for those needing an economic, durable alternative to hand-painted murals. Better yet, wallcoverings provide a highly-customizable, low-maintenance option that reduces cost without losing any artfulness.

ASID members are to utilize the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) registry to warehouse CEUs. The IDCEC user registry allows you to upload and track your continuing education activity as well as store a record under your account. Check your IDCEC account regularly to ensure your records are up to date.

Awards & Competition

Each year, ASID recognizes the exemplary achievements and outstanding service demonstrated by highly engaged members, chapters, student chapters, and industry partners through our awards and honors programs.

One Voice

Each day interior designers use their voices and visions to reshape spaces--and therefore the lives of those occupying them--for the better. With those same voices working in unison, they have the power to design a better future for themselves and the entire profession. That is why ASID began One Voice; to empower interior designers to get involved and advocate for or against the public policy that will ultimately influence their careers and lives.
